Good job babygirl, you did it. I’m proud of you for all those restless nights where you stayed up so late, and I’m glad I stayed awake with you to keep you company. I’m glad you’re so damn good at balancing everything in your life, especially having a relationship and still doing well in school. Hey, I’m glad you stayed with me, even though I was probably the last thing you needed. I don’t know how to say this, but although I was the last thing you needed, I strove to become what you wanted.

Because I know there are times where you don’t believe in yourself, but you can best believe that I’ll be behind you 110% in whatever you do. You didn’t believe you could make it into the colleges that you applied to. I always wonder why you don’t believe me that you’re an amazing girl, and you’re capable of doing anything in the world. Now look at you, you got accepted into almost every college you applied to, and all I could say was, “I told you you could do it.”
